An oddball who likes to write weird stories

Rebeccah Dean grew up in Tucson, Arizona and the San Francisco Bay Area. She studied music (classical voice) at Mills College in Oakland. In 1999, she moved to Berlin where she still lives today. She became a dual US-German citizen in 2019.
Rebeccah writes mainly speculative literary fiction. She’s had work published in Gone LawnPANK, Sixfold and Verdad, and recently finished a novel called Dick & Jane. Currently, she is working on her second novel and a collection of short stories. Her alter ego, Michelle, is a professional Vedic astrologer at goodstarsjyotish.com.
 

I like birds

especially swans and crows

I’ve made friends with a local murder (yes, that’s what you call a family of crows) and a bevy of swans. You can also call a family of swans a herd which fits. Those guys may look sweet and elegant, but believe me, they will run you down if you don’t toss that lettuce to them fast enough.
